Get Moving at Work Kit and Online Survey Get Moving at Work – A resource kit for workplace health and wellbeing programs Did you know.......‘the healthiest Australian employees are almost three times more productive than their unhealthy colleagues.’[1]
Workplace health and wellbeing programs provide a range of opportunities and benefits for employers, employees and the broader community. As well as improving employee health, workplace programs provide productivity gains for employers through outcomes such as reduced absenteeism, staff turnover and improved morale. The Premier’s Physical Activity Council with support from WorkCover Tasmania, developed the Get Moving at Work: A resource kit for workplace health and wellbeing programs. This kit is a simple to use guide for organisations, particularly employers, wishing to develop a health and wellbeing program. The Get Moving at Work Kit includes the business case for the development of workplace programs, local case studies and available program resources and tools. A copy of the Get Moving at Work Kit can be downloaded from this website and a limited number of hard copies of the kit are available to organisations attending information sessions provided by the Premier’s Physical Activity Council. To register your interest in attending an information session please phone 1800 440 026. WHATS NEW
