Location: Lea River Northern Tasmania
Description: The Lea Extreme Race is Australia's premiere kayaking race. Currently in its 13th year, the race features teams of two paddlers competing a time trial down the class four rapids of the Lea River in northern Tasmania.
The Tasmanian Canoe Club is coordinating the event for 2015 and is excited to announce a revamped after-race party and improvements in walking track access for non-kayaking spectators.
The club is seeking to attract interstate paddlers to the event.
